    • Customers: We collect your precise location to center the map and show nearby Pros.
    • Professionals: When set to “Available” or “On a Job,” we collect real-time location data to display your pin to customers and provide live ETA tracking.
  • Job Details: Descriptions of the issue, photos, and videos uploaded to describe a service request.
  • Professional Documentation: For Pros, we collect business licenses, government IDs, and certifications for vetting purposes.
  • Communications: Logs of in-app chats between customers and professionals to ensure safety and quality.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To Facilitate Connections: Using your location to show the closest available Pros or the customer’s job site.
  • Safety & Verification: To vet professionals and build a trusted community via the rating system.
  • Real-Time Tracking: To allow customers to see the professional’s progress while en route.
  • Improvement: To analyze app performance and user experience.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

  • Between Users: When a job is requested, we share the customer’s location and job details with the professional. We share the professional’s profile, rating, and real-time location with the customer.
  • No Selling of Data: We do not sell your personal data to third-party advertisers.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

4. Real-Time Location Features

  • Professionals: Location tracking only occurs when the app is open and your status is set to “Available” or “On a Job.” You can stop tracking at any time by going “Offline.”
  • Customers: Location is used to provide a “Home Base” for service requests. You can manage location permissions in your device settings.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures (SSL encryption and secure servers) to protect your data.
However, since payments are handled outside the app directly between parties, FixNow does not store credit
card or financial transaction data.

6. Data Retention & Deletion

You may request the deletion of your account and personal data at any time through the app settings or by
contacting our support team. Please note that some data (like reviews left for others) may remain visible
as part of the community history.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the
new policy on the app and updating the “Last Updated” date.
