By downloading, accessing, or using the Fix-Now mobile application, you agree to be bound by
these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The Nature of Our Service

Fix-Now is a technology platform that connects independent service professionals (“Pros”) with users seeking
services (“Customers”). Fix-Now does not provide home services and is not a contractor or an employer.

No Agency: Pros are independent contractors and not employees, agents, or partners of Fix-Now.

2. User Accounts & Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
  • Professionals: You agree to provide accurate licensing and identification. Providing false
    information will result in an immediate and permanent ban.

3. Direct Payment & Financial Disclaimer (IMPORTANT)

  • No Payment Processing: Fix-Now does not process payments for services rendered.
  • Direct Transactions: All financial transactions occur directly between the Customer and
    the Pro (via cash, check, Venmo, Zelle, etc.).
  • No Liability: Fix-Now is not responsible for payment disputes, non-payment, overcharging,
    or refunds.
  • No Records: Because payments happen outside the app, Fix-Now cannot provide official tax
    receipts or financial records for your transactions.

4. Real-Time Geolocation

  • The app requires access to your device’s location to function.
  • Pros: By setting your status to “Available,” you consent to your real-time location being
    broadcast to users on the map.
  • Customers: Your location is shared with a Pro only after a job request is initiated.

5. Job Performance & Dispute Resolution

  • Quality of Work: Fix-Now does not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of the work
    performed by Pros.
  • Independent Resolution: Any disputes regarding the quality of repairs, property damage,
    or incomplete jobs must be resolved directly between the Customer and the Pro. Fix-Now will not act as
    a mediator.
  • Reviews: Users agree to provide honest, non-defamatory feedback. Fix-Now reserves the
    right to remove reviews that violate our community standards.

6. Safety & Prohibited Conduct

  • Users agree to provide a safe environment for Pros.
  • Pros agree to conduct themselves professionally and follow all local laws and building codes.
  • Emergency Button: The emergency feature is a priority notification system only. In
    life-threatening situations, always dial 911 first.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fix-Now (and its officers, directors, and employees) shall not be
liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:

  • Property damage or personal injury resulting from a service.
  • Theft or criminal activity by any user.
  • Technical malfunctions of the app or map inaccuracies.

8. Subscription Fees

Fix-Now may offer “Pro Subscriptions” for enhanced visibility. These fees are non-refundable and grant access
to premium features but do not guarantee a specific volume of work.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct
that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Fix-Now brand.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State in which Fix-Now is headquartered, without regard to
conflict of law principles.

A Note on Insurance

While not strictly a “Term,” Fix-Now strongly encourages (and may require) Pros during onboarding to carry
their own General Liability Insurance.
